This 10 day old chick hatched with a larger than normal belly and it never got smaller. Pictures are of a dead chick, *not* of the actual necropsy.

Did you use it as a mouthwash? I think it might also have other ingredients in it.

I am briefly butting in to say a quick hello. This is an incredibly imformative page! Thank you for compiling all of those links on the first page. I jumped over here from the new years hatchalong, and id like to follow this thread too. Im gingerly incubating some khaki campbells due on jan 14th, and this is my first time with ducks (the new years hatch is chicks). Again, thanks for sharing the knowledge!

Is it soapy?

-Kathy
it needs rinsed yes, but its great for my dogs if they get an injury that needs washed. With kids I always have this because they cry when I rub them raw

see this link and read the ratios for animals... see the other links they have on this item..... its a good one for normal people. not that we are not, but not everyone has a med cabinet like yours, yet alone mine.

I am looking for Pharmacy CVS or walgreens items that shows everyone what they can grab in a small bottle...

there are some mouth wash products that are just that

From a reptile site, but links at bottom

Hospital, Large Animal Clinic and Field Service.
This recommendation can be found in their Biosafety/Biosecurity Protocols on page 7. The link is below.

Mix the 1:8 in a spray bottle to clean and disinfect. Clean up and remove any waste, then spray a paper towel or cloth and wipe. ***Never spray any cleaner or disinfectant into the enclosure while your reptile is in it.

Daily cleaning and disinfection is important. Scheduled deep cleaning and disinfection of the enclosure and everything in it is also necessary. You can find other information following the links below.
