Probably brown. Could you post a pic of her so I can see her body style? Then I will know if she's a leghorn or a White Rock.

I'm not able to take a pic of her right now. But, she is very long and lanky. With a nicely spread out tail.

They aren't dead until they're warm and dead!

I'm not able to take a pic of her right now. But, she is very long and lanky. With a nicely spread out tail.

She could be either. The breeds are really hard to tell apart. But, if you get a brown egg out of her, it's a White Plymoth Rock.

The problem is, they might be cold and dead....

They might look dead when cold. Seen many eggs and chicks come back to life after warming them up. Heck, have seen some eggs that were viable after being out in the cold for 2-3 days.
