good afternoon to you to p.s. sorry I missed your post at first that dream has me way offGood afternoon all.
Cute! Now let's hope mine still hatch...Oh my goodness, I don't get on for two days, and there are over 1,000 posts. Ask me if I was surprised?Had one hatch last night from the eggs I got from a friend. Wanting SG's, and a paint would especially be nice, no paint yet..well, maybe, there is another that just hatched, can't tell yet, too wet, but ha the light yellow color. This one that hatched last night has a great bow tie, a muff, nice feathered feet, and, the toes are great.

I understood what you meant. It isn't anything fancy, just a 4'x4'x2' box with wire on the front half. I put a removable divider wall in the center for smaller groups of chicks, which I'll leave in with these chicks. I'll use the other half to brood my NYD HAL chicks... if any of them decide to hatch.Sorry I ment brooder I'm on my phone with the whole auto correct thing
Was this the temp on the incubator, or the thermometer(s) in the egg tray? It will depend on how long the lid was open as to the effect it'll have on the eggs. The heater should have gone to 100% once the temp dropped that low, so it should have been blowing warm air across the eggs during that time. I wouldn't worry too much about it... what's done is done and you have to go forward from there. What do you think caused the lid to pop open? Did you get around to adjusting the turner arm so it doesn't push the tray against the ends?I mean, the lid was open, so it was cold in there, but the temp said 72 when I looked at it.
Shucks... thank you, Saris!!!Awwww cute widdle bebes!
