No, it was over the soap. I told him I was allergic to something in that kind. So he literally beat my *** for it and used it anyway. So on top of being bruised and marked, my skin all broke out.

Once I was grown, I quit going to family things if he was there. He's a crooked no good basturd anyway. We got into it again after my grandfather passed as he was trying to skim farm equipment that was going on the auction block to support my grandmother. He's a tool to say the least.

I've been whipped with switches (those were my least favorite, )belts, shoes, fly swatters, yard sticks (we bought those by the case,) books, and I'm sure I'm missing a few. Oh yea, she'd buy me them paddle ball things and beat the ball off the paddle from beatin my butt. She didn't do that but once though. When she'd buy me one of those, I'd throw it deep in the woods. Then I'd get a spanking for losing my toy. I still chunk them suckers every chance I get.

Last time Dad came after me, he nailed me in the back of the head with his fist when I was halfway up the stairs. I pinned his head to the wall and was about to drop the hammer on him, then thought better of it. I moved out that night, instead.

He's now about 75 yrs old and I still don't trust or have any use for him. Thank God he has never had any part of any of our farming and business operations.
