If it's one of the 13-14 day eggs, it looks good to me. If conditions are steady, you should see about that much more expansion on day 18, too.

I still have not been able to candle the ones the broody is on I get em put em up to the light and do not know what I am looking at.
googled and browsed candling info. I looked at some of the Standard Chicken eggs is it possible that silkie eggs are just hard to candle?
