ok I am off again for a while! last of the cookies are made FINALLY!! smells good in here!! choc chip and drop cookies today! Now to figure out what to get ready for supper awhile and a groc list for Christmas dinner since I was JUST TOLD I have family coming.

are you off from work for a bit over the holiday? Everyone clear in the house from sickness finally? Luke had a trip to the doc yesterday, thought he had pink eye but doc said since its his whole side of the face he thinks allergic reaction, so he got a shot and liquid steriods, so far he looks better but still pretty swollen and red. poor kids, does it stop!

I work per diem. got up and ready for the day, then got called off for the day. Yeah, creeping crud has moved out. Hubby and GS still have coughs, but you know how those linger. Those allergic reactions are not to be trifled with. Any idea what the cause is???

what is a guess at this breed... look at that head shape

SLW with some other breed thrown in. Don't like the head shape for it to be a full SLW. I have one SLW and really like her.

Not directly, Benny is a nickname to Benjamin -בנימין ("Benyamin)

I caught that after I went back to look again! lol

I may do this, I keep my feed outside the coop... only trouble is lifting a bag that high up to fill if I should make one. and I have enough trouble with a 100lb bag of feed

I use a plastic garbage can (one of the square ones with wheels & a hinged lid) that easily holds 150 lbs. It's a good bit taller than what you're using. I just have to lift the full 50# bag high enough to drape it over the edge, pull the tape on the end that's down in the can, and don't have to hold the full bag while it's emptying...if I have to support it at all, it's with my legs.

you will laugh when I tell you how I started doing it since I am not to lift more than 50lbs. I use a snow sled, drop the feed off the top of the stack on it and drag it through the gravel to the coops, lay the trash can sideways slide the entire sled into the trash can and tilt lift the trash can back upright and then just open the feed and let it in the bag.... Hey a girls gotta do what she has to do! they wont bag at 50lbs! only 100s

Urg, shopping on Amazon for my chicken medicine cabinet is a pain. I have Banixx Wound care, and 3 little packs of the sav-a-chick electrolytes and probiotics, and somewhere I have some blood stop powder stuff. I'm ordering Corid and Vet tape and....?

Tweezers and razors and scissors are already floating around the house.
