Merry Christmas Eve to everyone!
Just figured I would check in and catch up again before I left work this morning.
Whites, I haven't even started pushing that white stuff yet, it was still snowing last night at curfew, so I figured what the heck, it would still be there in the morning.
I have probably 12-16 " of the white stuff on the ground most places, and -5 F for a high temperature today!
Trying to recall why I live this far north?...............

Be thankful you're not in Fairbanks, where my one grandson is stationed.

Have fun with that white stuff, least its cold enough it isnt so heavy.

Yeah, not heavy, but a lot of it to move with a 200' driveway, the barns, the coops, and the skating rink! I know how I am spending my Christmas Eve! on the positive side, I did get a very nice bottle of singe malt scotch from one of our customers for Christmas, it will be five o clock somewhere when i get the snow cleared!

Stupid rooster wouldn't go back in the run the other night, even though all his girls were already there, most already in the coop. Don't know what his major malfunction was. I finally got tired of trying to herd him by himself after he flew over the fence to the roof of the brooder house, where he spent the night. Guess he got lonely & hungry; right after first light he got down and went back in on his own. Didn't know he could fly that high, but I was pushing him pretty hard.

Native, traced geneology and it seems my early relatives went separate ways when they emigrated, most went south to the US, but my grandparents (both sets) decided Canada was a better fit.

Good choice! that is my preferred blended, but I do prefer the single malts, just can't afford them!
