Tail injury with swelling.

She may have an upper respiratory illness call Mycoplasma. This is an over the counter antibiotic to treat it. https://jedds.com/products/amoxy-tyl?_pos=3&_sid=23728e9be&_ss=r

Shoot, they're sold out. Try phoning your feed stores to see if they have it or can order it.
I just ordered some from Global Pigeon Supply. It will take some time because weather and the "Bah Humbug!" Holiday time that it is.

Is there anything I can do, (that works) in the meantime to help her breathe better? She even gets winded from eating and does little mini sneezes maybe because of the runny nose. It is thin and watery and not always visible. It hits me when she sneezes or shakes her head and I am right there.

The avian respiratory system is totally new to me and I am afraid of everything, including my ceramic space heaters. Manufacturers love adding crappy chemicals to so many things like wiring.

I have the window partially open and am glad to be in FL right now with pleasant weather at the moment. My home is small and I don't have central because last owners messed that up and tiled over the vents. We discovered that the air handler was wired in and live when we tore out a room to make a better kitchen. Who knows how many years that thing was just live...

Thanks for these @Eggcessive! It is all a wait right now. I have regular amoxicillin 500 and it is good to know more sources as the sellers are forced to play "musical websites".

Scaley is testing my scales at a whopping 2.95 lbs right now.

I just wonder if it would hurt to start amoxicillin now when the drug I ordered also has it. I would love to do both but it seems like a lot.

I guess if my order takes 6 days with the priority mail and I use the new stuff for 5 days, it could be like 11 days of amoxicillin which doesn't sound too bad. What do you think?

You could start the amoxicillin now, and use 150 mg since she only weighs 3 pounds. I would probably try to use roughly 1/3 of your 500 mg capsules. Divide it and mix with some cream cheese, peanut butter, or egg. The amox by itself may do the trick. Let us know.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks.

Getting it in her will be the hardest part. So picky...
I happen to have cream cheese and gave a dab as a test run and she didn't oppose. However, she feels like crap and doesn't want more than a bite or 2 of anything.
I might have to scrape it up, freeze it, and pop it in the beak.
We will see.

I will administer it later this evening so it won't be a difficult hour to wake up and do again.

Scaley ate the amoxicheese (made with cream cheese) like it was fine. It was burning my eyes it stank so bad as soon as the cheese hit the amoxicillin... This happened to me with the coconut oil pills I made for Nuz before too. Stinks so bad! I stink when I take it...

I was like "Are you smelling this?" and my daughter said no but she wasn't gonna try to smell it. She put away the other 2 "pills" for me and smelled it and said it smelled like good goat cheese.

My nose is cursed, I swear...

This plan is good if I recall that 57mg per lb dose. Maybe slightly under dosing but works for me. 🤷

2.95lbsx57mg=168.15mg

500÷3=166.66

Thanks again for the links for the meds too. One never knows when it is needed so it is such good info to have.
