Good morning Ur! No problem on the help front, I can dream up and sketch things in my sleep most days, they usually go through several 'drafts' though before I am satisfied with the design.
Good morning, CC! (can't remember if I've said that already. let me check my phone...)

I can create what I call for the lack of a better term, drafts... but the final product never looks anything like the sketch. Never!

When I'm hatching for sale and out of the breeding pens I use 3x5 note cards. And then I file those cards by breed. Usually has 2 things on it when a batch is started. Lockdown and hatch date, breed and quantity. Any other info such as clears is added as the hatch progresses. Really the only things I care about on that card are the hatch date and final number. These cards are just for jotting notes, very short notes and follow the eggs to hatch since I don't hatch in my cabinets.

I think I started a thread, but just a few items on it. To give you an idea of how hardcore i am:

Baytril injectable
Baytril tablets
Marbofloxacin injectable
Amoxicillin
Clavamox
Augmentin
SMT/TMP
Metronidazole
Cipro eye drops
Lidocaine eye drops
Steroid eye drops
Prednisone tablets
Ketoconazole
Fluconazole
Nystatin
Corid
Safeguard
Ivermectin
Calcium Gluconate
Lactated ringers solution
Dextrose

Syringes, needles, gauze, etc... that list is quite long, too.

Of course many items have not been used, but with that kit I can treat just about anything that's treatable.

Wow, I wish I had that sorta stuff in my kit. I have:
Latex free disposable gloves
Styptic powder
Vetericyn
Q-tips & cotton balls
Syringe for hand feeding
Baggies
Popsicle sticks for splints
Not much, but I can limp along with it.

I do have a wishlist, and you sure gave me more stuff to put on it!!! :ya

Nice. Is the shelf life of the antibiotics long enough that you feel comfortable storing them for long periods of time?

Trips me out to see what the young kids can do with technology these days. Like watching my 3year old grandson trying to teach DH how to work the iPad and play games on it. Too funny.
When I went through school Texas Instruments' calculator was the only one available, and it was far from cheap. It really didn't matter, though, 'cause we weren't allowed to use them in Math class, anyway. Today, I think a calculator is required equipment.

That's how I would do it if I were into high production hatching. I like to keep things as simple as possible. Too much info tends to overload my sensory capacity...

I don't see baling twine, wire, and duct tape on that list. You'd be screwed if you had a "real" emergency!!!

The generation of today has more computing power at the end of their wrist than the "Big Blue" mainframe (that wouldn't fit in the average house) that I ran Divisional Payroll on when I was with IBM! It's scary!
