I move my eggs around multiple times a day cause I don't have a fan. I would.
X's 2. I move them around when turning. Even in the bator with the fan. I've noticed that it has warmer and cooler areas. I think they all do.

Ok, I took a couple. I will get better pictures later tonight when I'm not supposed to be working. The first two here taking last night. The next are of the new hatches, the last is my other babies - a little bit older. But I didn't hatch those. A friend hatched the 2 silkies, but the rest I bought
.

Really nice, where did you buy your silkies?

Also--home from work, my thermometer that I use to measure temp, my calibrated one, is on the fritz. It says 99, then 97, then 99, then 97, like every 6 mins, lol, and I know the temp isn't fluctuating like that, especially without ever being 98. I added in my old school 'mometer and it reads bout 99, ill pick up a new thermometer/hygrometer tomorrow after work, I suppose.

Eggs look good, I'm considering moving them around every two days to help stop the black hole that is the center of my 'bator. What do ya'll think? Bad idea? Messes with the eggs too much? Exposes all of them to the spot instead of just a few?
JMO rotate 'em

ANYONE find a solution to this problem? I actually noticed this in my hovabator, none of my very center eggs have hatched either time. :( Can I just move them around every few days? Do you think this is a bad idea?
rotate the eggs at least at candle time! no matter what your bator is! and if turner has a motor, dont put egg in that slot if its not covered either! it gets warmer there.

weird is you thermometer skipping digits? up that temp, to 100 anything lower than 99.5 is not good all that down time may add up in the end. I always run 100.5 or more in some cases. but get your stuff picked up and recalibrate.
