At the time the only place that had them was Efowl. I bought 15 straight run day old chicks. They sent 22. One was gimpy and died about 5 days old, the other somehow jumped out of the cage they were in and my cats found it. It wasn't pretty. Of the 20 that were left, 13 were roosters. I gave away 12 of the roos. I lost 3 hens to the hawks in my yard. What is left started laying eggs last month. These were the VERY first eggs the hens layed. I am amazed at how many hatched!! Here they are before I started getting rid of the roos, about the time they started crowing.Really nice, where did you buy your silkies?
hey Sally...how did you make it say cattywampus angel....how did you do that??
You're such an idiot. No changing my quote.Yes I am.
Hey, what's up?
aww, I love me a silkie. That's terrible ..all the things that happened! And so many roosters? I have to watch for hawks too. Have has them fly right over my head. Have only had a Ferrel cat get one so far. Man, she was hungry. My only Heritage RIR hen out there at the time. :/At the time the only place that had them was Efowl.
