Whatcha Making for Supper?

I made sausage, peas and mascarpone with penne years ago... And I have some ground sausage I need to use up. And some peas in the freezer. And some mascarpone cheese from when I made that Italian pastry a while back...

So I picked up some penne pasta at the store and am going to have at it.
I just need to jazz up the seasonings because my ground pork is plain and the dish calls for hot or spiced sausage.

At least that's the plan.

Just have to say, I made the pulled pork in the crockpot instead of the oven and it was the best ever! Made it overnight so it could cook low and slow. Never expected it to be better, but then, I have never smoked it, so there's that. They did it that way in Virginia and it can't be beat. Sometimes I wish I had a smoker, but then I would have to learn to use it. DH doesn't do these things. lol
