Whatcha Making for Supper?

After a bigger breakfast than I started out to make around 10:30...
What we call an Italian omelet. Or omelette... however you spell it.

I'm having a rib-eye tonight.

This meal sort of got out of hand, too.
I found some asparagus in the crisper that was still good. It's packaged, thicker, asparagus than the scrawny stuff that's been showing up. And there will be mushrooms, onions, pasta in tomato sauce instead of a potato.

I have everything messed in place. Just waiting for me to start boiling the water :)
 
That's funny. I love the thinner asparagus.

There was a time they were either thin or fat. And I preferred the thinner ones, too. But lately they have been downright spindly. Thinner than a #2 pencil. And don't even talk about straight.

Even these are thinner than the fat ones I used to see. Now it seems like they are all the same, either thin or fat. But then I saw some in a package like some green beans come. And they were just right :)

Those right there look pretty good to me. I don't want the tiny spindly ones that aren't straight either. :highfive:
