looks like the membrane never went all the way to the bottom. I have had some hatch, but this is a big spaceHere is what I'm seeing Sally.
This is my big egg and I am kinda worried about it, it's the last three pictures.
Here is the bottom of the egg.
and the top. The baby inside is swimming around and very much alive inside, but there is so much fluid.... The air cell is a good size for the size of the egg, but I'm worried about it.

That's a BIG egg! Great photos of it though!
And there's <<<< silence >>>>...........
should I lock it down upright then? Any advice to help it hatch?looks like the membrane never went all the way to the bottom. I have had some hatch, but this is a big space
Thanks. I'm almost doubting whether or not it's a chicken egg....
I'm still here.
I thought that could be a possibility but there was never any evidence of a second yolk. I candled before setting and at least every 2 days afterwards.More than likely a double yolker.
We had a REALLY big egg like that (but there was NO way it was fertile - no roo). It was a normal size yoke, and normal size whites. Just more empty space in the shell. We just felt really bad for the hen.....I thought that could be a possibility but there was never any evidence of a second yolk. I candled before setting and at least every 2 days afterwards.
Good evening everyone! Only just had time to catch up!
Should I be shocked that the mods showed up? Several of us have come very close to the line over the past few weeks (myself included).
Shah, great news on the pips, thought it was gonna be a long day for you, now it looks like a long night too!
Will pop in a bit later! Take care everyone.
