Bantams can be good layers, that's for sure, and they consume a lot less feed than large fowl. I just like the way a large or jumbo egg feels, and it doesn't take many to make a good meal.

Good morning everyone! Iwoke up to....surprise! 2 pips still.I have to retract my previous comment on this egg. After my coffee had a chance to do it's thing, I realized this isn't an external pip. It's just a crack from a hard internal pip. Duh... external means there's a hole in the shell and membrane. I've gotta be more careful... don't want to be posting misleading info in the interweb.
