The ducks will be in the basement. I used every tote and laundry basket I had to block off a section. Their food and water is set up, and the floor is covered. The ducks are free ranging inn what has just turned to snow. The chickens are done except for adding more food to a feeder. I freaked them out so many times with all my moving around and noise, I will be lucky if they lay.
The laundry is almost done. I think I can bath the dog and get a shower now. Since I just turned the thermostat down, I had better shower before it gets cold in here!

Another pip!

I know this is incubating with friends wanted to put this in

started the run expansion for the girls. If all works as planned

there will be 2 runs total with the coop in the middle. Got the idea

off of BYC awhile back, rotating the garden area and letting the

chicks run in it, It's a idea and plan still on the table.

awesome!! I love this idea, just not the flat lands or open grasses for this! hope it works well!

My morning with Hen Solo is going good, I gave her some beef broth, I rolled the other eggs about, (due in 2 weeks) and feed my outdoor birds. good thing they have a lamp out there, it is 0 degrees this morning!

I think the one that is still wet is black. I had 8 go into lock down, 8 are here. Here is a photo of the Partridge, which is now sporting a pair of nice little boots..still had curled toes this morning. And, a photo of 5 in the brooder.

I wish I could just run out to the store, and get something. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or $$. The closest place to get anything is half an hour or so away. The gas alone is not worth it.
