I have the 1 chicken that hatched early this morning that is very stressed and is hovering around the one that pipped this morning but hasn't hatched. It's chirping which is keeping the first chick around. I took advice from this thread and we recorded about 10 minutes of the 4 day old chicks and have been playing it on top of the incubator. The lonely chick has been loving it!! It's calmed down and isn't crying as much! It's also not hovering around the pipped egg. I am still stuck at work - as soon as I get home, I'll probably try to move it over with the 4 day old chicks. Will they beat up on the new guy?

my son! he has a new pack of socks from Christmas,
he is putting eight socks on each foot,
I ask him whut he is doin he says,

"because I can, I DO WHUT I WANT!!!"

so I tell him trying to stop a smile, that really isnt true and you never say that to Mom or Dad

LOL, explain to him how smelly feet can get when they get really warm......

probably, put one in the bator with him at a time and see how they do with him before putting them all together at once
