What do you use for the flooring on nursery side? I have always used shavings.
its puppy pads Mirajane!

hey yall, i got a wild hair and think i may want to hatch some call duck eggs, i dont have any broodies at the moment, what is yalls approach for incubating in the winter, does the location of incubator in the house and outside temperature really affect hatching and what about cheap spotty incubators, i have just the basic still air bator from TSC with a turner that i am sure has cold spots. thanks

yes it does, does your house vary in temps alot? you can try setting a thermo/hygro up that keeps track of highs and lows for a few days at certain spots and see how you run without buying one first. I will suggest if you can do it, and its not hard, to make a coolerbator. Links are in my signature. Call ducks are tough to incubate but we can try to help give some extra tips for them to help you along too!
or you can purchase an upgrade for the thermostat and go digital.
