it tastes just about the same as beef chunks in gravy cept it dont fall apart as such. Even the 15 year old eats it and she freaked the first time wouldnt try it. now I need two hearts for everyone cause they are piglets

I know this is incubating with friends wanted to put this in

started the run expansion for the girls. If all works as planned

there will be 2 runs total with the coop in the middle. Got the idea

off of BYC awhile back, rotating the garden area and letting the

chicks run in it, It's a idea and plan still on the table.

I think the one that is still wet is black. I had 8 go into lock down, 8 are here. Here is a photo of the Partridge, which is now sporting a pair of nice little boots..still had curled toes this morning. And, a photo of 5 in the brooder.

Hello Everyone! Sally Sunshine invited me here on the new member page. I have eggs in my incubator due today/tomorrow. I'm sitting here listening to peeping. No external pips yet, just internal. My mom is gonna make me sell all of the babies, but said I can keep 3 if I really want. We have 17 chickens right now and she doesn't want more, but I do.

Doing the feeding and cleaning tonight Babybear was acting weird
I watched for a second as she moved in sinc with a screaching Chick
It was stuck to her belly I reached up and pulled it off as gently as possible but when I looked at her I found out why she got stuck




I am also pretty sure something is going on with her wing as well she is not moving it.


Any idea what I can do to help her or what might have caused this?

I got me three littles! Hatched between 3am and 9 am this morning. Sweet little babes peeping all around. I didn't get any movement or pips from the other eggs. so I candled them and I didn't see any signs of life. They actually all had gray spots .. They were shipped eggs though. I'm not discouraged. I'm encouraged to do better. I will hatch from a local source next to see if its my incubator. I also want to make my own as we have too many temp swings in this drafty wood fireplace heated house. I'm finding all sorts of things on amaason I think I can use. haha. I'm trying not to have to do any electrical work and find things already wired. I am a little worried they aren't as reliable though reading the reviews. Let me know if any of you have tried these..
