Thank you! Can I get the Cliff's notes version of the hard and fast rules of shipped eggs, please? I know they need to 'sit' a few days... I know she started collecting some earlier this week.

I let mine sit for 12 - 24 hours in a room temp room with the fat end of the eggs facing up. Make sure you run the incubator for a few days before to make sure it stabalizes. I leave my shipped eggs in the egg turner for 2 days before I turn the egg turner on. I candle on days 7, 10, 14 and 18. I marked air cells at each candling. I'm in N. Idaho and I keep my humidity around 35% until lockdown. I will adjust it if needed depending on the look of the air cells at candling. The best advice though is don't give up if you don't have success the first time around. It can be discouraging (it happened to me) but that's how we learn. There is a lot of people on this thread who are full of great advice so if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. Keep us updated! I just bid on some eggs so if I win I'll be doing a hatch as well ;)

That's how I lost mine
