Thanks. Yes, KC is good. My name is Kaycey and KC is just so much easier to type. Love the EcoGlow20 warmer. Used them last year too. 2 chicks have already attempted to jump up on top of it, flapping their stubby little wings. Hilarious little guys. Picking up 3 Bielefelder cockerels and 2 Bielefelder/red Orp x pullets tomorrow. 3 months old. My flock of 14 has suddenly grown to 24 this week. OOPS.

Hey its me the broody chicken hatcher...so...things didnt go as planned and when i came home yesterday (day 25) my broody had decided she was done. I checked the eggs and one of my polish eggs still has a very wiggly little chick in it. I dont know how long she was off the nest but the egg still felt warmish. I fired up the incubator....in assuming that mu polish laid an egg on top of her halfway thru brooding that my broody took in because the chick appears to be around 15-16 days based on my limited candelling experience....so....my question is, is it even possible that this chick will hatch given all those conditions?
