The girls have a busy day planned for their Papa.
As for the temperature, you do learn to adapt. So do the animals. I am looking out the window at my coops, and the birds and my ducks are out and about, and then they go back inside to warm up a bit, then back outside!
It's also easier to dress in layers of clothing to keep warm outside. I usually wear a tee shirt, sweater and a heavy coat in these temperatures, with a wool hat, and gloves. If you stay busy and moving, it is pretty easy to work and play in this weather!
