Hi Everyone, love all the pics! The babies are all so sweet. Here are my babies...including their injuries

This is my little roosters owie, it's healing.
This one is on one of the little girls. I don't like that red coloring around the edge.
This another little girl. The skin was never broken but her head is still swollen.
Picture from the front.
This is a blue partridge brahma. Not sure on the sex...any guesses?
This is a female chocolate orpington.
This one is a buff/red orpington. I'm pretty sure it's a girl but wouldn't place any bets on it. She has barring coming in on her feathers.
looking much better!!! awesome!!

Dad's birthday is today. Won't be on long but was just checking in. LOVE the chick pics!
happy bday daddy!!

Good morning! I just came back inside. The mountain lion woke me up this morning. And NO pictures on the game camera!

It seems to work when I test it though....
My old Doberman has been running around barking at the cat tracks. She is upset that these things happen without her knowing it.

2 baby Seramas in the inc and another pip.
I know this reply is 5 hrs behind (been working firewood all day & just catching up) and may have already been addressed, but it sounds as though the big cat is coming in by a route not covered by the game camera. That's the only thing that makes sense if it's checked out o.k. Do you know where you can borrow another camera to set up where it still covers the coop & run, but from another angle?

I think your right. It would be best if I could get another camera. I just have to guess which way he'll come from. I'd really like a picture! I'm pretty sure that the video setting is not working at night, but the still picture setting seems to work fine. It would be helpful to have a guardian dog, but the way I am, I'd worry more about the dog all the time. Summers are too harsh for a hairy dog outside and winter is too cold for the Dobermans to stay out. I used to have llamas free roaming and they were very good at keeping predators back. Most of my pens are pretty safe. I mostly worry about my free range peacocks. Not much that can be done to protect them. They are pretty wiley though. If they would just stay in their tree a little longer in the morning they would be safer.

I think tonight I'll move the camera to a different corner of the peacock pen. Facing out of course, or I'd have lots of bird pictures...

Most of the time black and white would be boy. But the patterning of the feathers seems pretty even, do you have pics of when it was a chick? Especially of the comb. If the feather start looking splotchy or the "shoulder" is solid white then it's probably a boy.
My phone takes horrible photos, so the best I have is this - it's the dark one in the back: And this is with the red light about a week later First photo was on 12/15, next ones 12/24. The one I posted earlier was taken today.
I had babies like that! A few were boys, but the girls were just gorgeous!
