hope they went well!
as well as can be expected.
I wasn't the one doing the presentations today.
It was an equipment supplier trying to get us to purchase his equipment for an expansion we are planning.
I was the one trying to stay awake for 6 hours!

At least they bought lunch.

eat em! Sell a few. They seem to taste better when ya dunt gotta pick the shot out!
Maybe you should start, Low supply may mean higher demand.
Very common in higher star restaurants.
I may have to look into that. of course that would mean getting government certified to sell into the restaurant market up here.
I have way to much government involvement as it is.

I started adding the addition to my brooder, which will become the nursery for new babies. This is allowing me to borrow a little time until I have to do something different. One of the 2'x4' sections is getting a little cramped with 15 (5 week-old) Barred Rock chicks. As soon as I pick up some construction wire and add a door (tomorrow), the 7 NYD chicks will be moving to the 2nd floor of the brooder... and the older chicks will get to stretch out when I remove the divider on the 1st floor. I hope by the time they outgrow the 4'x4' space it'll be warm enough to move them to an outside pen...

Removing the divider will double the size of the "1st floor":

talk about passing out
lunch was good at least. he was from out of town, so I gently suggested we got to one of the better restaurants near my work. cost him near $500 for 6 people, no booze involved.
