I think most awesomelly useful things were originally created for not there current uses.Come to think of it, I may have been. I read that it was developed by the military as a waterproof means of sealing boxes during the war, but I don't remember which war. I hatched in Feb. '44; I believe WWII ended in '45?

OOOooooo purdy birdy. I know dark cornish are suppose to be good eating although probably won't get more than a couple nuggets outta bantam ones.
