Please don't get your hopes up to high with the hatch rates of shipped eggs. Does you neighbor still have fertilized eggs you can get? This is definitely the way to go to get to know your incubator. Remember, try to put every advantage in your court. You need to know that you can hatch good healthy babies.

Thanks, there are a couple dozen BCM's out of my breeding pen ( Greenfire direct line) and then a few dozen out of our free range layer pen. ( the hens will free range and we'll eat the Roos)

I had to run this batch of BCM's because of a freak accident we had in the brooder building over thanksgiving. I lost about 20 Five week old BCM's due to a freak incident that a few would have been breeding additions/replacements.

My wife picks up cheap shelf liner from the dollar store. We buy it by the box from them. I wanna say there are 72 rolls to a box.
