My 2 chickens nostrils seem much cleaner, but now the cockerel has bubbles in one eye. Can bacterial infections from dust or DE cause this, or is this a sure sign of a contagious chicken virus? The boy at least will be going to the vet next week, I'm just upset from these two possibly being carriers of something and the loss of the phoenix egg.....

Evening everyone. I set 16 more eggs, a bunch of Orpingtons and some mixes. My sister is baking me some pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. Life is good!

The only problem with the plate is when I scare them, they run under and I can't see them anymore., unless I lay down on the floor...

They do like to hide under them all it takes for them to run under is me feeding them

@country lovin have some warm water running in case she has a bunch of goop on her and be ready to take pictures of her navel if anything looks amiss. I'm sure she'll be fine though. *hugs
