I have two programs going.

My Easter Egger hatches and my Narragansett hatches, I don't interfere. These chicks and poults have to make their way into the world on their own. I've upgraded all my equipment over the past year, no more Little Giants, now GQF 1402 and Brinsea Ova Easy 380. So the hatchlings will have every advantage given to them.

My project turkey line is more challenging. None of these birds are for sale, and I've had a heck of a time getting them to hatch as the hen lays monstrous eggs, up to 150g, that contain too much fluid. This year I am mating her to a bigger tom, hoping to grow bigger poults to take up more space in that egg. I really want these genetics, and I will assist these if I need to until I can get female offspring that lay normal sized eggs and hatch on their own. None of these poults are for sale, so I'm not passing along the challenges.
