Sometimes new chicks are tired and lay down. If it is still doing that in the next few days then you may have an issue.

Ok, I'm going to jump in and post a few pics. My humidity was down to 27%. I didn't want to fill the well, I just need a little humidity, so I found a salt/pepper shaker. Its square, so it fits between my rails perfectly! And while I was at it, I candled a few eggs. Only day 5, but life begins! e
