Temp is a little high for a forced air incubator, and humidity is a little low.The calibrated thermometer and hygrometer ms SALLY sent is 100.5 and 22 % humidity
You all do know that while "pretty", those pretty feathers don't make them taste any better......
Kind of like wanting to kill a "trophy buck"... you can't eat the antlers! Then there's the argument they'll mount the antlers. That's all fine and dandy if you're rich, but I'd rather spend money on something I can actually use. Just my view...You all do know that while "pretty", those pretty feathers don't make them taste any better......
That's what we had for lunch stuffed into a hard taco shell. Yummy
Me, thanks!
Ok, I have a total phobia about eating the fertilized silkie eggs we get. Can't do it. I can only hatch so many.
So, we just scrambled a couple dozen and are going to feed it back to all the chickens. Can I feed any to the tiny babies? Or do you wait on feeding extras?
Looks like you got your answer...a real shameTemp is a little high for a forced air incubator, and humidity is a little low.
I said earlier I hope you didn't have the incubator running with the eggs you just got today from ms Sally. Since you probably aren't checking the temperature and humidity of your armpits, I'm guessing you set the new eggs already. If this is true, then I'm sorry to say I won't be helping you with any problems you run into with this hatch. If you still have ms Sally's eggs sitting in a carton outside the incubator, you need to tell us now...
