You want funny? I was born just outside of Boston. Father is PA Dutch, mother has WV accent. Moved to north Jersey. Had to go to speech classes in school. The teachers were from Brooklyn. Spent entire summer's surrounded by people from England Ireland and Scotland Was engaged to a Georgia boy that insisted I learn to speak with his accent (he died). I can slip into an accent just by talking to someone with one.

Yes there will always be debates about what works best as long as there is incubation. What works good in a particular climate might not work good for somebody else 100 miles down the road. I think what Sally has provided is more of a bench mark to start from, not an end all debates type thingy. I'd like to join them peeps as well next time I incubate

We've started the exhaustive search for the perfect dog. Thought we'd found her yesterday: gorgeous female Aus Shepherd/Beagle mix, 8 months old, good start on obedience training, 30#. She met most of my criteria (young female, 20 - 40#). The deal breaker: "She likes to play with chickens... correction: EAT chickens." So, it's back to the drawing board. In my state, there aren't a lot of shelter dogs available. Very heavy on the Pit Bull and male categories, though.

Nothing wrong with putt bulls.
