I wish foam was cost effective. people already are too cheap to want to pay for good shippin
I am out of ovates, def owe you a few as usual paddler, hope you have a wonderful day!
If they don't want to pay, they don't get eggs. It's that simple. (nor chicks or adult trios for that matter)
I'm already losing money on everything I do here much less giving things away.
If they want to pay, they'll get a quality product that arrives in excellent condition.
You hit the nail on the head with that one.Paddler the grumpy old man, needs more sunshine in life![]()
I've traded eggs before and send mine to the other person so they can use my shippers to return them.Foam is very reusable, so it might be cost effective in some cases. Where is the best place to get foam shippers?
I was thinking of buying some to send to people I want to get eggs from, so they just put the eggs in and send it back to me.
I think they can be sterilized.yes it is, but I wont re-use it used anyways, its too porous to sterilize, remember I am CPT and a bit "anil" I learned a bit too much about disease me thinks. Its even hard for me to order hatching eggs from someone, yet alone chicks. I need the full testing credentials![]()
Chlorine, isopropanol and formaldehyde come to mind. Fumigating. They have to be clean first. You can't disinfect a turd.
My eggs are always clean when I ship them.
So true. I don't think most people pay attention to uniformity.Well let just say CC that I know how half of your night was spent . Few more post and it would be a novel but it was great . One thing I don't weigh either while some on the threads know of my son others of you do not .I must use my time wisely . I figure that what ever happens in incubation is going to happen no matter what I do . shoot for the best humidity for each breed and only hatch breeds together that do well with like humidity . I do believe that color and shell density egg size make a great difference in the hatch rate . so one would think it best to hatch like sized eggs with the same shell density and color to improve hatch rates .or be breed specific with each hatch .loved your multi quote skills .Good morning to all wish I could hang out but my training must go on .
Hi Sally![]()

I didn't used to but do so now.
My brother used to live here, working at Emerson fighting impossible traffic every morning.Isn't traffic bad 24/7 in California?
Right here where I am a traffic jam is 2 vehicles or more. Whole 'nuther story 2 miles away.![]()
He moved to the boonies in SW MO and had a longer commute on back roads. Many years later when I visited him, he took me to his workplace. On the way home there was a car in front of us on these windy roads. He was actually serious when he uttered, "I hate rush hour".
Dontcha just hate tellin' a funny then having to explain it ?![]()
