Got the turners in and the hatching tray in got the eggs 1 do trader Joe fertile laid the 22nd and 1 dozen whole foods vital farms backyard eggs just have to stabilize the Temps and humidity and I can update when I set!

HOW TO CANDLE EGGS

There are two different ways to effectively candle eggs. One pertains to shipped eggs and the other to non-shipped eggs.


When candling shipped eggs FOLLOW this:
1. With a flashlight ALWAYS keep the eggs upright, large/fat/air cell up, its best to leave them in the egg carton. ALWAYS candle from the FAT end/air cell so it shines DOWN through that open space into the egg, AGAIN, put flashlight on FAT end/aircell and hold egg upright/fat end up and do not turn or rotate egg, rotate flashlight!

2. When candling shipped eggs extra care must be taken to not dislodge the aircell when candling.


When candling non-shipped eggs FOLLOW this:
1. With a flashlight or other candling aperture hold the egg at a slight angle, large end to the light. Making sure your fingers don’t block the light, turn the egg slowly until either you see something or you’re certain there’s nothing to see.

2. Again candle carefully so as not to dislodge anything.

I somehow missed this, obviously wasn't thinking straight, and screwed this up when getting my candling images after my eggs' arrival. Candled them fat side down before reading response.

I PROMISE I WILL NOT turn shipped eggs to candle ever ever again.

Well, we'll see what happens... I have a back up plan and arrangements and additional eggs that may be sent (better packed).
