Just returning the favor, ie. "the tongue"...post #42586  :p

Well, one of the two Call ducks just died in the shell. This is how the other one is looking. It doesn't look anywhere close to ready to me yet, and I'm afraid it's not going to make it either.

So many people, that's for sure! We can nominate 4 people per month, so that's what I'm going to do from now on.

yes i totally understand these ducks are the most stressful :hugs
I have Muscovies going into lockdown Monday. If any of them pip (I've never had any luck), I doubt they'll be any less stressful. At least my own Muscovies have started laying, so now I can try to hatch some of my own eggs soon instead of shipped ones. Half of the air cells in the ones going into lockdown Monday are still detached despite letting them sit for 24 hours before incubating and then another 3 days in the incubator without turning.

Well I thank you all, other wise I would have given up along time ago trying to hatch eggs, eventually will get it at high altitudes. I so enjoy learning from you guys and seeing if it works with my flock and keep referring more people here that are interested in chickens or other fowl
