Maybe I will move em out of the kitchen to another room. Pretty dry here with the heat running day and night? Will it hurt to leave it around 40?

I don't know if this link will work. But sometimes I feel like I have days like this lady...

Well, one of the two Call ducks just died in the shell. This is how the other one is looking. It doesn't look anywhere close to ready to me yet, and I'm afraid it's not going to make it either.
did you check to see if its yolk was absorbed? those veins are not looking that thick! are you thats not just the remaining dried veining? ducks have thicker veining than chickens. was their blood in the veins? @HeatherMarieR I would def check the other to see if one of the smaller veins actually has blood in it, they may be stuck in the shell??????

I can't get the humidity under control

The LG has been running 47-55% for the last 7 days. Sally suggested I run 30% with bcm's. I have taken the water out completely and it stopped at 40% ish. Will this be A-ok?
are you certain your hygro is calibrated? take the vent plugs out now and see if you can get it stable. You air cells are what size? do you need to add or take away humidity?

see above

@Sally Sunshine I'm going to message you. I think it's ready
I think it may be as well but need you to check those veins and slowly remove the top membrane and then see you can get his head out and if he kicks free.... again check veins for blood, you will have to rip part of the membrane where those smaller veins are first
Heathers photos to show everyone..... follow above and get it out.

@Sally Sunshine PLEASE is there anything I can do for this?
nope nothing you can do but iodine and keep it separate from others, give electrolytes and it should be ok if it doesnt get infected just dont touch it and use iodine or something like to keep it sanitized but dry....

Baby duckling is getting weak. I got the membrane off of its head, but when I got closer down to the side it started bleeding. I really hope I didn't cause it harm. It's somewhat sticky too.
