I could go off on this about not seeing red lines and arrows hidden by legos and possible backwards stickers... But I won't, since no matter what happens y'all will tease me about this long after Sally's suicidal mouse and duct tape halo have been forgotten....

Well, bite my lip and cover me in honey! While trying to find the stupid dead egg, and the porous looking one (which I couldn't remember if it was alive or not) I ended up candling all 24 eggs I set. Two clears and the early quitter. Nothing to take a picture of. It was just a little off colored. It was looong gone.
I have never had (hmmm... I think this is my sixth hatch) so many make it this far! They are looking good!

Except that I only wanted three chicks. Preferably at least two pullets. I am either going to be footing a bigger feed bill (still less than the fifty-something I had a few years ago) or getting rid of a bunch.

Only time will tell.

What about the Easter hatch along?

Concrete filled styrofoam blocks? What insulation rating? Wired and plumbed inside blocks or on a wall facade inside?
