I'm sitting inside today, (can you tell!) It is extremely windy and rainy out there. Other than running out to take care of birds and horses, I want NOTHING to do with it!

Here is my Halloween hatch Serama. Showing some frizzled feathering....I don't raise frizzles, but this shows up sometimes.

We just repaired and auctioned off, windows that used to be in the Triton restaurant in San Diego. They went through some bad winds, waves, storms....As I was working on them, I was finding shells, gravel, rocks...imbedded in the lead! And yeah, the salt corrodes everything except the glass!

That's incredible stuck in the lead. Some storms those were. Glass must have been built a lot stronger than the stain glass I've seen.

Sow bugs at the bosses home would eat the window flashing causing leaks. Kraft paper. We had a different term for it in the field and it rhymes with Kraft. The bugs ate all of it except the fiberglass.

Still can't believe the coincidence of this. I probably have photos of the chapel somewhere and I'm not talking digital. :lau

These guys should be modeled into salt and pepper shakers Well the sun has come out but the wind is supposed to be up around 40 mph this afternoon. I'm with ya on the inside stuff. Haven't budged from the couch since the sink was fixed. All spare parts from the shop. :yesss:

TJ that place is an Architects dream, my principal at the Arch firm had such a glass fetish, there were inspiring photos plastered all over the walls in our break room. ALLLLLL had fantastic windows designs. He paid 25 grand to have custom made tree of life glass made in 9 panes for the conference room wall into the entrance!!!
Glass inspires me . As James would say, it is building with light. I love building huge walls and skylights as well as small glass sculptures, etc...Right now, I am starting a door for our house. I will have a peacock in it. I have to be careful to not do something too fancy, cause this isn't a palace! it's an old cabin that was once a chicken coop and was added on to....

We had to be in the same area back then at the same time.

Isn't that funny! I was only a little over 20 years old building the windows at Searanch!
