I've done the hardware cloth cage thing before.
My mesh bags are those for seafood. They have a shrimp label I have to peel off before I use them. I found a bundle of 100 at a flea market for $5. I bought them without knowing what I was going to use them for but they have sure come in handy.

first pip was noon ignore air cell marks, I did them early cause I do them when its convenient for me after day 15

I don't think I've ever marked an air cell in my life. I guess, it keeps people busy that are anxious for chicks/ducklings/goslings/poults etc..
I try to set them and forget them.
I have to set an alarm on my cell phone for a couple days before hatch so I can move them to the hatcher.

I'm half-Vietnamese. My mother's family (and by extension my family) celebrates Vietnamese New Year (Lunar or Chinese New Year) which is Monday.
My daughter celebrated Chinese New Year in Thailand the year before last. She spent 3 months in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Viet Nam.
She got so fed up with 6 hour bus rides turning into 10 hour bus rides that she bought a motorcycle when she got to Viet Nam for her travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. She started at Phú Quốc island and ended up at Ha Long Bay before heading back to Thailand.

She paid this guy $1 to hand cut a spare key for her.

Sand dune 4 wheeling in a Vietnamese desert. I didn't even know there was a desert in Viet Nam.

Here's a beach bungalow she rented.

I'm taking her to the airport at 4 AM tomorrow morning for a 6 AM flight. She's backpacking through Costa Rica for a month.
I asked her if she could take a suitcase big enough to squeeze me into.

Guess How Many Eggs Will Be Set
7th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

I'm guessing - A LOT.

no,it was 46.it's day 9 that's too high of a humidity.
I'd say relax and don't fret humidity that much. I know it is important but how does a mother hen lower humidity when there is a thunderstorm going on?

@Sally Sunshine under what circumstances do u give chicks the polyvi ? I've seen u mention it numerous times and don't remember if it was for a boost when they're just hatched or when they are sick. I would like to give my chicks the best start i can to growing healthy and happy so thought i would ask someone with experience.

I give it to shipped chicks, which I never have any more. I keep it in case I have a weaker one from lengthy hatching.

I put Gro2Max probiotic powder and a little agave nectar in all the chicks first water. The nectar for energy and the probiotic powder to replace what they would have gotten from eating their healthy mother's feces when foraging for the first time. Yeah, it happens.
Gro2Max can be put into food or water. I don't like to use it in food other than FF because in dry food, I'm not sure it is mixed well. In water, the yeasts and bacteria populate all the water.

That was gonna be my guess.

Found some quail online...might get some in the spring or ducks

I want to do quail. Anxious to use my turner quail rails.

Yeh I got

Insufficient Permissions or somethin
I got the same thing.

They need a fan

I have one on a cheapo timer that come on around 10:30 and off at 3

Basically the hottest parts of the day
I'm seriously contemplating putting in a fancy forced air system in a couple buildings I designed with less than ideal ventilation.

The miracle of birth.

You will; you won't be able to not open it; just wait...you've got 19 days of agonizing curiosity to endure yet, and gluing your nose to the glass is only gonna satisfy you for so long.
I've weaned myself of the curiosity by keeping incubators in the cellar.

Are they ok with colder. 26* is as cold as it gets here usually. Can be 108* during the summer

11 pounds nice

Oh, yep, good in the cold. Your temps sound much like my temps. Not all of us have 11 pound hens, of course, that's way big... a few of us have threatened to arrange a hen-napping.

Does anyone know where I can by leg bands to put on my chicks/chickens? I want them so that I can keep track of who came from who or who came from what colored egg.
