ok here's an update all 7 of my babies hatched all of them look good except 1 has curled toes not sure what to do with it seems healthy otherwise.

Chickie booties. I use electical tape. People say..what?!? But it works great. I round the corners.

The "shoes" in that pic is nothing more than bandaging tape. It's on the top and bottom of the toes, and stuck together between the toes. You can use band-aids, or cut little sandals out of cardboard and tape them to toes. Google "curled toes in chicks" (without " ") and you'll find a ton of options.

I have one that keeps flipping on its back...legs seem a little wide but only like 3 hrs old...worry or no?

Ok my chick has a red dot sticking out of its back about the tail area...?!? Other chicks are pecking at it

3 hrs. old...does it have a big belly? I find that the ones with a lot of yolk to absorb do that often. Until the tummy goes down.
