I have a question ........has any one here ever heard of a HEN being able to crow ? I ask this because my hubby is trying to convince that some hens can crow , now idk if he is just having wishful thinking that one if is crowing seramas are really a hen or if he is pulling my leg

I've had as many as 9 broodies at a time. One time there were 8 pullets that all went broody together in a community nest.LOL....In all my time with chickens, I've only had this one go broody. I'm looking forward to my next broody hen! I can't even imagine!!!!![]()
Every flock only uses one nest in their building here.I've only got 6 girls that are laying and two boxes. I don't think they prefer one over the other because I find eggs in both.
Sometimes mature hens will crow, and some will mount hens, but it's usually a temporary behavior.
