Since I didn't need a large piece, the plastic backing that came on my Farm Innovators thermometers worked perfectly. Most anything will work, even plastic wrap...

These were my 47 duck eggs that I chose no to clean:



Note that a large duck egg interferes with the motor, so I chose not to use that spot, but it should be fine with smaller chicken eggs.

I told her to go ahead and pee in there too!

She's being a sissy lately. She gets anything on her hands, she wants to wipe them on me. Except poop. The grossest thing there is, and she isn't afraid to have it on her hands.

I am raising an odd duck... ling.

My daughter is the same way. She likes to clean up messes. If she gets snow on her boots she tries to wipe it off than gets snow on her gloves and tries to wipe them. She's currently a finger eater but every now and than she has to stop to wipe off her hands because I guess they get to gross and dirty to stick in her mouth. What should I expect from a daughter of mine....besides guaranteed to be odd.

Try covering the well(s) with a piece of plastic to reduce exposed surface area. I covered 2/3 of my smallest well and it kept the humidity exactly where I wanted it...

I have an older model like this one, and a newer model. The lid on my older model doesn't lay perfectly flat so I put some tape on one corner to hold it down.

I have that problem with mine and was able to get it to seat better by putting a piece of cardboard under one corner of the base.

SOME pople can, but I'm not one of them. Too easy to get it wrong using head spots...

I tried learning from the charts and decided it is easier to wait for wing feathers.
