I forgot it was fan forced... sorry. So it just needed to be restarted to fix it? That's good to hear!!! Wow... I bet you're feeling a lot better right about now!ok think the plug in chord plus stupid probe are problem, after unplugging it now the accurite jumped to 102 again. The heat lamp was removed as soon as it hit 99, 99.5 with fan forced is right.. can't wait until friday, gonna be long next few days. Is it safe to tape probe to the eggs so that it cannot move when turner does?
If you can't wait, start cracking them open. That'll speed things up. You can see the chicks a lot sooner that way... but they probably won't be chirping, moving, breathing, and stuff like that. Still can't wait???I can't wait
No he doesn't...that's a bummer......cause ya kinda have to
A friend brought me over another dozen Ameraucana eggs and 4 more Marans eggs to put in the bator Sunday. He only wants the Marans chicks. I'm going to be over run with Ameraucana chicks.![]()
poor you lol, we like the one we have but haven't been able to come up with anymore around here, she's the odd ball though, sticks to the duck like glue when she's not racing around the corral or yard
Might be the turner motor causing the spike. As long as it returns to normal temp in a reasonal amount of time, it should be fine. Egg temps changes much slower than air temp...nope not fixed yet, while egg turner isn't moving it stayed stable then when turner moved it went all whacky again, spike 102 then back down to 97 which is at least acceptable, will see if it evens out now turner is settled
