I have a poor BCM hen in full molt right now. It's SO cold out! I feel horrible for her!

Good morning Aurora. I have a PRIR in heavy molt as well. Seems to be making it okay, but I was very worried about her for awhile. Been feeding her flock raiser crumbles (20% protein), and it seems to be helping. She's starting to feather out fairly well after a couple of weeks.

Same issues here, have at least three old kitchen chairs and a recliner next to our burn pit as well. My boy must have been in the same class as yours.

Couldn't quite pull it off, could he? Give him the benefit of doubt... he probably wanted to sit and watch the turkeys. Easier to be still when wild turkeys are around if you're sitting.
