You know as many coyotes as I kill, you'd think there wouldn't be any for miles. This morning I was out feeding and turning the free range crew out, it was about 6:30 and just barely light enough to see. Anyway, coyote came trotting through about 30 yds from me. Wonder if he'll make the same mistake tomorrow?

One did that early in the morning through my back yard a few years ago (pre-chickens). In the middle of the city. Geez....

Have since fenced off the entire yard.

Well i dont know if u remember but a couple months ago i got the little giant incubator, well i let it run for a couple days empty right , well the humidity and temp were stable and good to go so i placed my eggs , well i had about five eggs that i put in lockdown and four hatched i did a eggtopsy on it , it showed high humidity signs and i thought it was odd cause the digital screen on the bator always showed it was in the good range so the next set was horrible they werent hatching they had the same high humidity yellow goo in the shell i got another thermometer the built in one is so far off im shocked i had anything hatch so now im going off the thermometer that i placed in but the eggs that are in there are some that went through the mess before i place the new thermometer in
