Two have hatched so far with two well on the way. One seems quite weak but the other is drying up, stomping around the incubator like a little dinosaur.

For all you egg shippers out there, can you think of a reason why eggs shouldn't be sent to a PO box?
I'm shipping some to Puerto Rico and the PO is right next to where my customer picks up his kids from school so he want's to pick them up at the PO.

If that's where the customer wants them shipped than ship away.

I could show you one with a full beard, but it'd make you feel so bad you'd be clean- shaven before sunset

My room is cleaned up, and I went on the hunt for another brooder. I finally wrestled a vegetable bin out of the root cellar and brought it upstairs. Between tape and cardboard, I got the holes covered. I noticed I was out of oil, so I had to order that.
I accidentally threw out all of my colored rocks from the waterer. The trashcan smells like vomit, and I was not sticking my hand in there! Oh well, I had to buy more anyway!
I'm now showered and ready to do ... Oh man. I haven't done the dishes yet. Oh well!

I just got a bantam egg for the first time in MONTHS!
Reynbow laid it, she lays largeish pink tinted eggs.. So pretty!

I don't think it is fertile though... She runs too fast from the roos... And it was cold... And it will be old by the EHAL... Eh, I'll set it anyway!

Do you plan to heat the brooder with oil??? I'm confused...
