The first post said Reese, and the second post said Rees... so I was a bit confused by that (doesn't take much). To make matters worse, you wrote Rees and Greenfire in the same post, as though they were two separate identities. Greenfire exclusively carries Jill Rees CCL... so I was completely off the map at that point.
sorry, I was replying with the voice part of my phone and while I was stopped quickly in my truck and then I had to drive again so I did not edit it. I guess i differentiated because I have in my head since they're from two different breeders not directly from greenfire.
Please let me know if you find any Barred rocks. I really like them. I may order some chicks on the Heritage Rhode Island Red side from dick horstman.

Need some input here please. Each of the red marks shows a vent hole, the red circle is a vent hole right over the fan i put in myself, was a still air. If i plug that one my humidity stays up but unplugged the fan sucks alot of it out. The fan is blowing up. With so many holes on top could i plug that one hole to help with humidity and still have adequate ventilation ?
I'm dealing with the exact same issue. Originally a still a it and I added the fan also. Mentioned the same problem back a few days ago and Sally sunshine said it should be fine to cover the one above the fan. If you feel more ventilation is needed you can add a hole in a different location.

I just pulled up a pic of the LG with circulated air and the vent hole is located up near the edge. I think i may plug this one and add another away from the fan a little. Thanks so much.

Good call I never thought to compare the two. I just figured they were the same externally. Interestingly enough the holes were already in mine for the fan to mount. Might be different models also. Not sure how much but I figure the outer shell design has changed at least some over the years. Best of luck. I plan to add a hole as well. Test will be the Easter HAL.

How many will your reeferbator hold?
I'm still going to call it a refrigerbator, no matter how many times you and whites call it a reeferbator...

When completed, it'll hold 68 eggs...

I have pictures but can't seem to load more than one at a time on my phone. They were in cartons wrapped in bubble wrap and then shredded newspaper wrapped around the cartons.

Well that was a process but I think they loaded. We will see if not I give up because I ain't trying that again.
Even wrapped in bubble wrap, the gauze and cardboard cartons would have wicked some moisture out of the eggs. I like Sally's style of wrapping and sealing every individual egg in bubble wrap to seal in moisture. You'll need to run RH a little high to compensate for what's been lost. How fresh are the eggs?

I already tested this one and it holds temps well and humidity is good until lock down. Won't get up and stay there. Don't want to test with the eggs i'm putting in tonight, paid too much money for them. lol Best of luck to you also.

I think you'll have adequate ventilation with the other 10 holes...

I'll even call my own a reeferbator when its done. Although I'm hopeing to double my current capacity from 4 dz to 8 dz. Speaking of packing things the Sally way I have 16 Dominique eggs coming next week that I had them pack it that way.
