LOL. I only have 12 laying hens, so eggs are in short enough supply I can't set many. My addiction is actually on hold, believe it or not....
TSC is running late getting chicks in! *tick tock tick tock*

Edit: and my roos are useless, (my last roos gave a 100% fertility rate about 8 mo old) I'm getting an EE roo this spring!

My last roo was dinner. My current roo is a young CCL that keeps getting chased by the older girls.

My little CCL roo is making his first attempts and the girls keep chasing him but as soon as they stop and turn around, he's after them again lol

As far as I know he hasn't made any attempts at it. Him and the younger girls still get chased every now and again by the older girls. Although since I ate my last roo everybody is way friendlier.

How many you got in there?

12, but only 10 confirmed fertile. The other 2 are Marans from a young pullet -trying to test my roo. (Saw bullseyes on cracked eggs)
I'm going to try to avoid staring at the incubator all day. If I did things right I should expect hatches to happen tomorrow.
