A less rat-like picture. I moved them because I had to add water. It's going through humidity pretty quickly but the two chicks escaped their shells easily. One gold one white pavlovskaya.

Can chicks and ducklings be brooded in the same brooder without much difficulty?

Don't know as I'd try that. Ducklings likely wouldn't care much one way or the other, but most chicks would probably take a dim view of that.

That's where you went wrong.....sort of. Speaking is not allowed nor is looking so if you try to complete the lady on her nice appearance she will remove your coffee privileges because apparently the written word constitutes talking. I guess ya could just sit there and enjoy the view but she put the kibosh on that because you'll be to bleary eyed.

Most people say not to, but I did and it worked fine. They grew up together and got along great.
