Thank you Ur, but I'm still gonna call it 7/8. Pulled one early and decided not to eggtopsy (could've been infertile but since I didn't open it I'm calling it a super early quitter). Also pulled a clear from batch 2 on day 7 (started with 33). So success from lockdown was 100%, but I'm a tough judge and am going with the 87.5% hatch rate (still my best so far)

Don't know as I'd try that. Ducklings likely wouldn't care much one way or the other, but most chicks would probably take a dim view of that.

Maybe I could breed aquatic chickens.
