Hi, Yeah, I've used a collar on her, but don't want to overdue it because she's here to keep the cougar away. Sometimes I have to wiggle it around on her and get it pretty tight for it to work through her hair. I'm trying to get her to understand what's appropriate to bark at. Might be an impossible dream but at least she's better than the first couple of nights. She doesn't need to bark at distant owls and coyotes that are 4 miles away. I correct her if she is over doing it. I don't think we'll see that lion again with her here.

I'm in a bit of a unique situation here. You may remember when the mountain lion corridor proposition passed in CA? We'll the state took the money from that and bought the ranch next to mine as lion habitat. So, the 17,000 acre cattle ranch next to me is now owned by Fish and Wildlife. It is nothing more than a playground for state fish and wildlife and also a fire hazard bought by us taxpayers. Better than a housing development, but....

Once installed to the electrical and plugged in, does the fan always run? Or will the thermostat govern the too?

To my understanding, (someone correct me if I am wrong) the fan is not wired into the thermo, it is a seperate circut run by the same power source. Having them on the same cord is pure laziness and for ease of transportation! The wires for the fan and thermo are not twisted together, they are simply run through the same hole. Hope this helps...

Oh that is a good point the thermostat would would affect that, I would like it to always run, I have not yet ordered the fan incase it is to complicated for my small mind. Will I have to pull apart the brain of the incubator to install it or is there another way? Thanks for any and all help! :D

Ok so that drawing probaly makes since to the average joe but it does not to me so let me give you guys that are very kind in helping me an idea of how it is set up. So I have a little giant styerfoam incubator an I want to put a fan inside of it. When I incubate I have a thermostat that I hook to it then attempt a hatch. So how would I set the fan up so it does not have to be wired to the incubator and is always running? I hope this makes since it probaly sounded better in my head. Thanks for the help!

Day 18 and I saw THE FIRST CHICK'S HEAD MOVED WHEN I WAS PUTTING AN X ON IT.
